Man, 44 declared wanted over homosexual activities

The Ajorogwu autonomous community in Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State has declared a 44-year-old man, Mr Agbo Chizoba kyrian, wanted for alleged involvement in series of homosexual activities.
According to the traditional ruler of the community, Igwe Mike Okpe, the Ezeudo 2 of Ajorogwu autonomous community, Mr Kyrian who hails from Okpuje part of the community was alleged to have committed the sacrilegious acts with some persons, one of whom is Mr Okpe Peter Obiora, thereby desecrating the sanctity of the culture and tradition of the people.
He noted that Mr Kyrian’s partners in crime, including Obiora have all been declared wanted by the community. “They have committed a sacrilege against our land. What they did is a taboo in our land and the punishment is banishment for life after they must have appeased our forebears.
“So, we want them dead or alive to be able to perform the necessary rituals to cleanse our land, after which the law would take its course on them. For now, our concern is to get hold of Kyrian and his accomplices where ever they may be hiding, so that we can cleanse our land and be free from any kind of ancestral wrath. What the security agents do with them thereafter is not our business because as far as we are concerned, they will be totally banished from our land eventually.
“However, none of those he committed the abominable acts with, including Mr Obiora, is anywhere to be found. They have all disappeared to unknown destinations but we are determined to smoke them out wherever they may be,” the monarch stated.
The community has also petitioned the police, urging them to do everything possible to ensure that Kyrian and his co-travellers are arrested and punished accordingly.
A letter dated November 2, 2025, to the Divisional Police Officer, Obollo Afor, read: “I am Igwe Mike Okpe, Ezeudo 11 of Ajorogwu autonomous community, Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State, Nigeria. My entire cabinet members and I humbly appeal to the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Obollo-Afor, Udenu Local Government Area of Enugu State to declare Mr Agbo Chizoba Kyrian, a subject of my community, wanted and subsequently ensure his arrest anywhere he might be in Nigeria.
“Mr Kyrian desecrated the sanctity of our tradition and culture by engaging in multiple homosexual activities with Mr Okpe Peter Obiora and others, whose whereabouts remain unknown till date.
“We, therefore, urge the police to smoke out our Mr. Kyrian and his accomplices anywhere they may be hiding.”
